Practicing yoga, can increase relaxation and focus. When students are more relaxed and focus, we see academic improvement. They are able to study peaceful without feeling as stressed.
Chanting, holding poses, remembering sequences all help students improve their memory. Focusing on ones breath, helps eliminate distractions. This in turn, helps the student focus and remember what he or she is learning.
